I'll take the rainbow sprinkles with a side of smiles.
I saw coldplay last night for the 5th time. First let me announce that I don't care if you make fun of me for liking coldplay and say things like coldplay? more like coldgay. They aren't my favorite band ever, but yes I do like them. My one problem with really popular bands is the sing along. Sure its a cool thing to experience as a performer and somewhat as an audience member. Everyone is out there belting out the lyrics you wrote and it is really gratifying I'm sure. But some people paid 80 dollars to hear you sing the lyrics. This isn't irish music night at the MCI Center, don't rely on us, sing your damn songs. I didn't pay 80 by the way, I'm just speaking up for those that did pay 80 and because of it can't afford a free blogvoice. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind gets more and more incredible everytime I see it. Michel Gondry is an amazing director and really shows the most accurate portrayal of a love story and a growing/new/old/crumbling relationship between two people. More accurate than most dramatic films that are based in a more realistic setting. I only write that last sentence because I can just see some bloggers going "accurate? really? I mean they erased memories, blah blah blah, how can that be accurate? I'm always boring always and forever." It really is an amazing story and I think it is just incredibly real even though it is super out there. I am going to be hosting a show tonight at George Mason University. If you love comedy then you might want to come check this show out. Its a comedy show. Yummy, I love girl scout cookies. Samoas are the best. Also tomorrow night there is a FREE FREE FREE show at the Laughing Lizard Lounge in Old Town right off of King Street. It is going to be amazingly fun and an all around good time. Its a standup showcase featuring about 10 different DC comedians. Please come out and support this show, so we can get booked at this venue more and more and more and samoas.
