Long Time

Sorry that I haven't been "on the ball" with updating the old blog page. I haven't even really been that busy, just completely lazy. I mean I have a day job that allows me to write 300 blog entries daily and yet I barely manage to get in one a week. Thats unprofessional people and I'm gonna get that shit handled. I went to Las Vegas last weekend with Ryan and Danny and a bunch of Ryan's friends. It was pretty cool. I'd never been out west before and its always great to go your first time and lose every penny you own. Las Vegas raped my soul. It grabbed me right after I got off the plane, kicked me in the balls, spit in my face, slapped my ass, then threw me back on the plane. I can't even remember how to sleep right now. My favorite part of Las Vegas was the mindset that everyone has out there. All tourists act like they are Vegas veterans. Constantly you will hear people say "come on man, its vegas, are you serious?" At least thats what I kept hearing when I asked if we could legally gamble. (amazing joke right there, thats called comedy) I didn't know the rules okay. I didn't, lesson learned. So now I'm back in DC looking for more hosting or featuring gigs. What an awesome gig this standup comedy thing is turning out to be. Last night we were performing at Dremos and they were not into any jokes that I told at all. I tried to do a completely new set from scratch. Some things went over well but others did not at all. Great show. They realy didn't like it when I used the "C" word to describe a girl that stole one of my jokes. I didn't really want to use the word, but I speak from the heart and that is one organ I don't censor. Well at least the heart/mouth combo with vocal chords and shizzle. Mer. My new favorite word. So tired. I am going to be updating the site pretty soon. When I hosted for DC Benny at the DC Improv, the guy that works for XM radio was there cutting DC Benny's upcoming album together. He is going to be getting with Ryan and myself about getting our sets on cd, which would be really high quality sound. So that would be great. CD quality audio for the website of two different sets from that weekend. Amped I am. Then a few other changes will be made to the site and soon "Vegas" pictures will be posted. They are awesome.
